Congrats on getting in to Wash U. I really want to warn you about their placement record, as they have placed kids at DE Shaw, Goldman and etc. since the program began 5-6 years ago. So just because one kid in 2006 got a job at Goldman they get to put it on their list. Take it from my experience: the Career Center here is a joke. The MBA/MSF programs don't even have a separate career fair or any real leg up over English majoring undergrads.
Not all is doom and gloom. The program is very quant heavy (I've taken some of the classes that are dual listed for MSF and finance majors) and the distance to Chicago is pretty reasonable, so if you've got the self-discipline to pound the apps and make a few drives north, you can probably land a trading job at CMEX or something if that's what you want to do.
What hall are you in at ND (almost went there myself)? My friend Brian Boll goes to ND, I think he is in Dillon hall.
