TA is very good and he responses very quickly to any of our questions. Course material is helpful for anyone who doesn't have any programming back ground because it requires many self-research and self-study as well. The course is very efficient in the purpose of letting students grasp basic C++ knowledge especially for students in financial area.
I enjoyed this course and felt it was a great introduction to learning the C++ language as well as important introductory topics in computer science. The TA was always timely in answering questions and grading the homework, which is very appreciated.
Happy to complete this course. Everything I have done is for Baruch MFE and my career dream in quantitative finance. I enjoy Professor Duffy's lectures, there is a lot of knowledge behind the lectures, each word he said has a reason. Thanks for APalley's help in my homework, I now know how to write a beautiful project with class. Thanks again for Quantnet, my TA and Professor Duffy.
Best wishes for all of you!
Foremost I would like to say it was a real pleasure in taking the course. The course does help people like me who does not have much experience with coding. A lot of credit goes to the way the course is structured. Also the Lectures from Mr. Daniel Duffy were very informative and precise. Finally i would like to have a special note of thanks to my TA, Mr. Palley who has been very helpful through out the course.
The quality of the course is nice. It is quite demanding. And the TA is helpful.
I believe C++ is the best way to learn C++ systematically! I love this course so much. My programming skills have been improved a lot though this course. I love this course. The 9 level homework is so helpful to practice what you learn from video. The lectures are always clear. I love the materials used in this course. In addition, TA is always helpful and always responds to you in a very short time and the explanations are always clear.
In a word, this is the most efficient and excellent programming courses I have ever taken!
The course covers a lot of material. I estimate it to be equivalent to a full year's programming course at a regular university. So the help from TA and everyone else on the forum is super useful to complete the course.
I like the course. The content of course is strong. Homework is challenging and very well-organized. My TA, Avi Palley, is very helpful. He answered my questions on time and graded my work with many details and helpful comments. In summary, it is a great course!
It is a great experience and students learn knowledge from the course.
My TA was great, he was quick, responsive, and very helpful. I was heavily impressed.

The course was excellent, I have learned a great skill, taught from the best. This was the best online course experience I've ever had.
Great course.

Different than conventional C++ courses.
(Most of the courses teach you C++ concepts, but you don’t get the coding skills).
In this course you get both.

I took the course while doing my PhD research in Physics (University of Texas, San Antonio) and doing my TA duties (I am a TA for physics, not for C++ :) ).
Did my homework mostly in weekends.
Videos with Questions and answers in the forum helped me a lot.

Help from the TA is invaluable.

Highly recommended.
this is a great learning opportunities for C++. unlike other degree mill programs this program really teaches you in depth about C++ programming and definitely a good certificate to have for Master in Financial Engineering program admission or for your future career in Financial Engineering. the professor and TAs are very helpful and are always there to answer you questions regarding C++. great course, I learned a lot!
Great course - Provided an introduction to important concepts in C++ in a structured manner. HW assignments were challenging and the TA was very helpful.
I completed my test today and successfully obtained the certificate with distinction. I really appreciate all the help I got from our TAs and Professor Duffy. Before this program, I did not know anything about programming, but this course has helped me build a solid foundation on C++ and allowed me to become closer to my career goal. Thanks again!
Avi is a great TA. He is always very helpful during my study of the C++ course. I appreciate a lot for his support during the couple of months. Also I would like to thank a lot of people in the forum, especially to Ms. Justine Morgan. I find she is always there is someone post a question about the study.
This course has high quality and is very useful to me. The professor and TA are both very nice.
This course in very solid in that it takes hands-on exercises as its major form. The connection between C++ basics and applications in computational finance is the most attractive part of the course and I think it is well elaborated. It might take some time for a beginner of C++ like me to finish the homework but it is worthwhile since the structure and order of assignments is beneficial to developing a good programming habit. The TA`s comments on my homework is detailed and in general inspiring. All in all, it is a fantastic course on the fundamentals of computational finance!
As a person with no programming experience at all, the course was a great challenge to me at first. "But isn't that exactly the reason why I took it in the first place? To embrace the challenge, enjoy the process, and find the feeling of achievement in it.", I told my self. Through this 16 weeks, not only I learned knowledge of C++, but also found interest in it. This course is a great start for me to continue learning programming as I pursue further education. My TA has been very helpful and responsive to my questions.
Loved the course!
Exceptionally well structured.
Great quality. Thanks Daniel Duffy!
Great support. Thanks APalley!

And thanks Andy for making this available!
I think this course is well organized. My TA Apally is really nice and helpful. I learned a lot about C++ in a very short time.
