C++ Programming for Financial Engineering

The material itself was very good and I learned many new C++ techniques that I haven't known existed. However, I was hoping to be able to use real data (such as connecting to API and pulling data in or using a local csv) in our computation.

Overall the course is great and my c++ skill has improved a lot through out this course. Thank you for all your effort.

I think the quality of the course is very high and it provides basic knowledge for C++ learner. Aftering completing the course, I have known much more about C++ than before.

Quality is rather good but course can be made better

It definitely is the best programming course I've ever taken. It satisfies every aspect, if not exceeding, of my original goal. I've learned a great deal in both c++ and financial engineering. This is the course every FE beginner coming from a non-CS background should have. I'm now a much more proficient programmer than I was back when I only knew interpreted languages.

High quality course that is challenging. The exercises ensure that you understand the material being taught. This course exceeding my expectation of this course. I believe I have gained a solid foundation of c++ programming.

I took the course to learn C++ in preparation for my master's program for financial engineering. The course successfully fulfilled my goal and I learned to program basic financial applications using C++. The certificate was also required to enter my program (even though it's not baruch!). Very informative and useful course, would recommend!

I would definitely recommend this course. The course has basically taught everything necessary to learn primary C++. Meanwhile, we benefited a lot from the forum communication, with both forthcoming TA and other fellow students. I would say that this course indeed meets my original expectations.

The course is very suitable for students who have not coded in C before. And the forum is very helpful when I met some difficulties in doing homework. And TA responds really fast to my HW assignment. It certainly meets my expectations.

This is really an immersive course with lecture videos and forum discussion form former and current students. The exercise are well designed to help me understand the concepts and practice using them.

This is a fantastic program and teaches you important concepts in C++ and touches on very useful computational finance applications. (Black-Scholes, Monte-Carlo and Finite Differences Method) TA is super amazing and always get back to us on the same day. Aware this is an intensive program (While completely doable as I am new to C++ and was able to complete the full program) and will take some serious efforts each week. If you are serious about computational finance, this is a MUST. My next step is to solidify my learnings in this program and move onto Advanced C++ course which is offered by this amazing teaching team.

This course is really thorough to help me understand the key concepts of C++ in order to operate in the quant finance world. And the TA are really helpful as well in helping me understand different concepts and problems.
