Be sure to write excellent essays, especially when you're coming from a field unrelated to finance. They need to know that you have spent the time learning about the field and that you know exactly what you want out of the program and what career you want after you complete it.

My video was uncut 4 minutes of me talking about my experiences and how they relate to finance, as well as what I've done to smooth my transition between physics and finance. No fancy editing, no walking around talking to a cameraman. Just a webcam, dress well, sound confident, don't read off a script, and just have bullet points open and talk about who you are and what you've done and where you're heading. You'll need a few takes but it's important to come across and sociable and confident I think. Especially since my GPA/GRE scores aren't top notch but I was still accepted, I feel my video and essays had a big role in it.
