Tips on how to unlock the insights of the QuantNet ranking:
  • Total Score: This figure provides a more nuanced comparison of program quality than the numerical rank alone. For instance, the gap between #7 and #9 is smaller than the gap between #9 and #11.
  • Percentage Employed: For the #9 program, 76% of those seeking full-time employment secured a job by graduation, with an additional 12% employed within three months. Of that 88%, 55% found jobs in the U.S., while 33% were employed overseas.
  • Base salary/Sign On Bonus: This figure reflects full-time U.S.-based employment only, as reported starting with the 2023 rankings.

Are list members going to get the rankings before its published?
Yes, anyone subscribed to our list will receive a sneak peek of the ranking via email tomorrow at 9 AM EST. The full 2025 ranking page, featuring comprehensive data (acceptance rates, employment rates, salaries, etc.), will go live at 10 AM EST.

This staggered release helps us manage traffic on our busiest day of the year while giving priority access to our active members before the general public.

My family will be talking about politics at Thanksgiving, but I'm going to be talking about the drama of the new QuantNet rankings. We are not the same
Allow me to help with the drama so you have more to talk at Thanksgiving dinner. I'm going to slowly release the full list, starting at the bottom at 10 AM. It will be done differently from previous rankings.

What would be a surprise for me:
1. Any one of Baruch/CMU/Princeton not being in top 3
2. MIT reclaiming its top 5 spot
3. Stanford entering the rankings

What I low-key expect (might be very wrong): UCB/Columbia falling slightly and UChicago, NYU moving up

That would be huge if any of these scenarios happen. Can't wait to see it. Only a few more hours to go.

Hi, great work as always! Baruch losing their #1 streak is a new development for sure

I had a couple questions to ask as follow up:
- Is there an anticipated date for 2025 rankings of UK Quant MSc programs?
- Is Yale's MS in asset management not considered because it differs too much from a Quant program?
- Is the 2025 methodology similar to the 2024 one?

We hope to release the UK rankings early next year.
Yale Asset Management was invited but chose to not participate. Hopefully, they will return in future rankings.
2025 methodology is the same as 2024. See link above.
