3-2 Program with Columbia vs. MFE

My school offers a 3-2 engineering program where I could complete a bachelors with a double major in applied math and computer science at my current school in three years and then transition to Columbia for two years to receive another bachelors degree in an engineering subject, assuming I have a 3.5 GPA and am selected. I would probably choose operations research with a concentration in financial engineering as a major for the second bachelors degree at Columbia. However, if I attend a summer semester, I could graduate in three years and then get an MFE if I’m accepted to programs I apply to. What should I do? What’s better a bachelors in operations research with a concentration in financial engineering from Columbia or an MFE. The latter choice reduces my time in school to just four years for undergrad and masters, whereas the former will add another two to three years if I want to get my masters. Nonetheless, the result is what matters.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
