Will taking Baruch’s pre-MFE seminars help me with making up my undergrad GPA? I’m concerned about my low undergrad GPA especially in Linear Algebra.

It couldn't hurt. fwiw, a top program suggested I repeat Linear Algebra even though I had a beautiful sob story for my C+. (got an A+ without studying second time around).

On the bright side, if your GPA is that low, they probably won't accept you to the seminar.

Baruch does not f. around. At all.

This is one of the reasons to take the Pre-MFE seminars. A strong performance in the seminar should override a lower grade in a corresponding undergraduate course. It certainly does so for our program.

Your prior grade in a corresponding class is not relevant for the admission to the Pre-MFE seminar, which is an opportunity to show what you can do now, not what you did in the past.
