Berkshire shareholder interested in Quant

Hi everyone,

As the title says, over the last many years I have been investing in Berkshire style of value investing. Now I am interested to know lot more on "Quant" trading. In spite of the fact many PhDs struggle in Quant implementation in stock market, few like Renaissance are able to consistently do it. So I am here to learn. If my 15 years of experience in stock picking can be of help to someone who helps me understand the Quant, I am happy to exchange ideas.

If you have fundamental knowledge of the stock market, then learning about quantitative angle would only help you expand your understanding and open up more trading/investment opportunities.
Depends on if you are invest long/short term, different approaches would be more appropriate. I believe Warren's style is long term/value stocks while quantitative approach is more short term gain.
