Hi,
I recently graduated from Cornell with a degree in CS engineering and started work in a bulge bracket bank in a technology analyst role. The position is a developer role supporting automated trading systems, but I am more interested in a quantitative role, something I was unable to get out of undergrad. I am taking courses in computational finance online and I am considering applying to a MFE program in the city. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience (transitioning from technology to front-desk quant) and what tips they could share with me.
Thank you.
