I am in a bit of a career dilemma, would be grateful for your insights.
I am from Chartered Accountancy background (India) with experience mainly in Audit and Business Finance. I have been intending to shift my career to more quantitative roles however I do not have a mathematics background to break into the industry.
Considering the scarcity of time, my options are limited to either 1 year masters (Fin. Maths/ Fin. Eng/ Economics) or MBA or certification courses.
I was leaning towards a Masters but India does not have a prevalent 1 year Masters. What would you suggest somebody (In India) who wants to move from Accounting to Quant related roles?
I know your site mainly caters to US based career prospects but any advice would be quite useful.
