Hi everyone, I got waitlisted even though I had an interview in R1. Just wondering what is the chance of admitting from waitlist this year? Thanks!

I think this is as much a mystery to everyone here as it is to you. I would suggest reaching out to the program to see when they expect to potentially extend offers to folks on the waitlist like yourself. I think this is probably the only way to get reliable clarity.

That's true. And to add,I think the fact that you had an interview gives you a higher chance of being admitted. If I'm not wrong,there have been people in the past who were waitlisted without one. But as mentioned,it's always best to contact the admissions office directly.
