Has anyone done the pre-recorded video interview for Columbia MSFE? If so, can you please let me know what to expect?

I got 3 behavioral questions.
Only one I remember is: "Describe a good book you read recently."
They will all be posed in sequence. Eg. "Tell me about yourself.", "What are your weaknesses?", "Describe a good book you recently read."
And you get around 3-4min to answer to all of them, no breaks in between.

I would not bet on getting the same questions.
Think it's best to prepare for the usual behavioral type questions.

As I can see, the deadline to apply is 5th of Jan. Its great that you have received interview invites. Congrats.

It is a one-sided video interview that is required of all applicants

What is the deadline for video interview? Is it also 5th Jan?

There is no posted deadline, it only says that your application will not be reviewed until you submit the video interview.

Once you submit, you will get an email with a link to view your application checklist. The video interview link appears there.
