Cornell FE 2021 - Video Interview

Hello - I was asked to do the video interview, less than 48 hours after I applied. I am guessing this is a routine step in the process? I do not think they read through the applications yet and there is nothing to overthink about it. Thanks in advance for any insight you can share.

Same here. I think you are correct that it’s an auto invite. Perhaps they have a minimum cut off for GRE / GPA, but unlikely.

Same here guys. Seem like it's a required step, just like other programs that require you to submit a video essay.

Yes, its a mandatory step. Also, do any of you have an idea about how this year's acceptance rate would change considering Cornell gave an option to defer last year. Have they mentioned anything in their webinar about the number of intakes for Fall'21 ?
