Hello all,

Here is my quick resume...

BBA Economics - Minor Computer Information Systems

GRE.Q - 164
GRE.V - 159
GRE.Writing - Not known yet

Course work -
Calc 1 and 2: A
Calc 3: Current semester (More than likely A)
Linear Algebra: A
Probability Theory: Current Semester (More than likely A)
Intermediate Micro and Marcro: B+/A-
Econometrics 1 - A
Ordinary Diff Equations: Next semester

Work Experience -
Data Analyst Intern (The Sherwin-Williams Company)

Here's the part that scares me: GPA 2.88 (Will probably be over 3 after this semester) Classes from my first couple years in college that I failed is killing my GPA. All the above classes were in the last year or so.

Do I have a shot at a MFE?
Should I retake the GRE because of my good but not great score?

Thanks,
Bruce

If you show progress in your academics over the last year, you should mention that in ur PS or essay, so they know you have potential. As long as you have good grades in key courses like math/stats, I think you should be fine. Make sure u are real strong in other stuff like com sci and finance though. I am applying too, so I am not in the position to say too much, but good luck with everything.
