Hello,

Just curious to know what is the state of the art in fixed income electronification ( I mean some level of automation in market making, inventory management etc.) FX and Equities have been automated to a large extent, curious to know whats the progress in other asset classes.

treasuries and all exchange traded stuff r highly "electronified". some otc swaptions r as well.
its hard to automate other bespoke things which lack standardization, liquidity and counterparty risk backstop, such as structured products and corp bond

Thanks, why is the bespoke stuff harder to automate - Is it a technology issue or more related to lesser number of market makers?
