Financial engineering in New zealand

i want to do financial engineering, but i see US as top destination for FE. does anyone know if it good to do FE from new Zealand, can i get job in US for this degree from NZ

yes you can, you can do it anywhere but first you need to find a H1B sponsor or some form of visa that allows you to work in the US. Most companies don't sponsor, and those who do have thousands of applicants to choose from, so good luck with that.

Part of getting your foot in the door is doing a program near where you want to work. If, for some reason you absolutely can't leave NZ or want to work in ANZ, aim for a PhD in maths, physics, computer science etc...

Also, I know trading firms in Sydney will fly you over from NZ for an interview if you're good, but there aren't many firms in Sydney
