How good is OSU?

I am currently in OSU pursuing a double major in CSE (with specialization in AI) and financial mathematics.

I was wondering how good OSU's math department is and how valuable my courses in machine learning/data mining/computer vision would be.

Also, are my CS internships valuable if they are related to machine learning or at a bank?

Don't know much about that college. Every once in awhile someone from your college asks the same question you did, try and find them to see how they turned out.

Connect with your seniors. Ohio state CS is pretty well known for MS and phd.
Btw internships are always valuable as long as you manage to create an impression. What you’ll need to figure out is if it a good investment of your time in terms of the value that it will bring (like financial compensation, connections that you might be able to leverage on in the future, a follow up internship/ full time offer etc.)

from what i've heard from family the cs but if you want a MFE it's unavailable, however case western in ohio does have a quantitative finance program
