How is the chance of a MS in DataScience entering finance industry

Just as the topic suggested, I am now facing a choice between tier 2 MFE offers and more decent DS offers, but I know my interest lies with trading or quantitative strategies (front desk). So how should I get into front desk? I mean, tier 2 MFE won't lead me there. DS may have a chance but right now it seems most graduates go to Amazon or something. So how about DS first and maybe tier 1 MFE later? I could really use some help here. Including your understanding of different data science programs, which is good and which is bad. The employing opportunity of data science majors in finance industry. And is that possible that I can get into Tier 1 MFE program with a undergraduate background suitable for Tier 2 programs and a master degree in data science.
