Hi everyone! It's a little bit complicated.
I am applying MFE programs for 2011 fall, acctually, I finished all the applications. And I just got my sub math score, 770 with percentile 77%. But I didn't mention I've taken this test in my applications.
I applied 9 FE programs:
CMU, Columbia, Umich, Cornell, GIT, USC, UIUC, Minnesota, Boston U
and Statistics@columbia
So, could you please tell me how to evaluate this result? Will it show my weakness in math? Which of them would consider my sub score as an advantage? in other words, I should send my score to which programs?
BTW, I'm not a math major.
Thank you very much.

That's a respectable score. If you have 800Q, you may not necessarily need to include it as it's not required.
It depends on your other scores and grades in math courses. You didn't say so i can't help.

First thank you for your reply:)
I am a chinese student major in FE.
GPA 3.45
GRE V620 Q790 AW3.0
Toefl 106
internship in securities company
exchange study in europe
For math courses, my first year's math performance is poor, caculus and linear algebra are under average, and that's why I took this test. For the other math courses, they are far better, most are A or A+. But I didn't have abstract algebra, topology, complex variables and real analysis.

Taking real analysis, cal-based probability, PDE will have much more impact on your application than using that GRE score. Math grades over long period of time is a better indication than a one-time test.
