Just a hypothetical, I thought would be intriguing to think about.

A person who knows little bit of maths, programming, finance, statistics, general interest in the economy.

Other than a math tutor, junior software engineer, and so on what would be some possibilities?

It would be pretty tough, I imagine. I've thought about what I would do if I were not able to find any job in financial services and the options are not good. Perhaps a gig economy job. Maybe get further education in another field.

This is why detailed placement stats that are transparent and unambiguous are so important when choosing to attend a program.

A better question is the other way around; for domain such as XYZ what technical skills do you need.
Specialise.

There are other industries that need the math and modeling skills, programming and ability to handle large data sets. I think healthcare (pharmaceuticals) is an example.
