I noticed that here people mainly talked about the US quant school.
But I am still looking forward to some advices helping make my choices.

My Profile:
I have achieved a BSc. math degree in China and MSc. Fin degree in Germany.
No related working experience so far.

I am now searching for a good chance to stay in a big financial center to work a quant job.
But as an international student, I think it mush depend on the locations of my university located in.

BTW, LSE program has only 1 year while IIT has 2 years.

Well, I would suggest you to go to LSE due to better brand name. Btw, why did you apply to risk and stochastics and not financial maths? Coz fin maths have better placement I think.

Actually, I applied the statistics first then rejected. this program is only my second choice.

LSE is a far better institution than IIT Chicago but then you will have an easier time finding job in US than UK.

Honestly I wonder if it's not even possible to leverage the brand name of LSE here in the US. People surely know it's more prestigious than iit, they just need to google it...
