With the covid-19 lingering around for months causing lack of enrollment from foreign students, are programs such as Steven's MFE vulnerable to shutting down?
My friend said this program has 90% students from china and 5 -10% from India. Paying ~$60K for a program that may not exist after a while may not be a good investment. It could be the first very bad investment in the process of becoming an investor/FE.

Any thoughts?

absolutely. an ms in computer science or data science makes a lot more sense at this point because even if it’s a subpar program u can probably still land somewhere (including like SDE at amazon)

Its better to focus on the top MFE programs as they have better placement track record. Stevens grad programs have lots of issues even in computer science. They are having a hard time retaining professors from what I gathered in their subreddit.
