Is there any good online VB course? tried to read the book by myself, but not that efficient.

Are you looking to learn VBA (based on VB6), or the newer, .NET-based VB.NET? They're similar but also have crucial differences, so make sure to learn the one you'll be using.

I'm reading a VBA book and thought it would be the programing language that is used in some quant jobs. any suggestions are really appreciated!

Then you need VBA, not VB or VB.NET. VBA is the magic that makes Excel spreadsheets more powerful and last longer than it should. Many front desks are befuddled with the number of legacy spreadsheets that they can't live without.

I haven't come across any. Probably because VBA is seen as something you can quickly get the hang off, then the rest is just a lot of trickery and mastery that comes after years of using.
The often advice is to use the Macro function, record the action and look at the code.
