Hi all,

I got selected in these 2 roles for summer internship 2025. I am not able to decide which one to choose. Both are for their New York office.

In terms of comparison between jpmc and GS, any insights on which of the two firms would you recommend and on what basis ? The responsibilities cover such a huge breadth that I am not able to pin point exactly what I will work on.

Which of the two firms is better known for their quant ? Till now, I have heard from few alumnis that jpmc qr markets division is very good. So leaning more towards that.

Apart from these 2, I also have an offer for Belvedere swe. But since I want to do qr in long term, so not considering this role seriously. However since it's a prop trading firm, it is more appealing as compared to the banks. I feel that at Belvedere I might meet better qr than the banks, so it might make sense.

In terms of pay, all three are very close, so it's not much of a consideration.

You should know what division you're in for the GS QA role. Is it risk? Research?

I guess JPMC QR has my vote, but Belvedere SWE might get it if I knew better what the work would look like in each role. Is it a true SWE role, or more algo development like HRT's 'SWE' roles?

Edit: nice work landing these offers.

You should find more about the GS role.
JPMC QR Markets is pretty good, try to find more about the team here as well.
I have close frnds in Rates modelling/Infra, EDG Strats, Indices(equities/commodities), security services etc..
Heard good reviews from them. You'll be interning one of those probably.
Good luck!
