Hi all, I have been following you guys for couple months. Got a lot of great stuffs from here.Thanks.

I'll be graduating from MS at the end of this year. Every time I look for a job, it seems pretty hard for entry level(I switched from engineering to this field. Everything seems brand-new to me). Anyone had the same situation recently? Please share how you got the job offer? Don't you think knowledge/skills(assume 100% from school, no amazing projects/internship experience involved) are enough to encourage potential employers in the market to hire us? And how can you push yourself to the next step when your master program doesn't offer projects for practical uses?

BTW I'm in Chicago and hope to get an internship opportunity in Chicago area.

Entry level jobs are brutally hard to get. That much is easy to see.
The problem is every other guy can say almost the same thing about themselves just like you. Looks like you have to out-hustle everyone to get a job. Ask yourself if you can hustle to begin with?
You are in Chicago so it's a major plus. Hit every networking event in town?
