LinkedIn was breached. Change your password immediately

As hackers work quickly to crack those “hashed” passwords — –165,000 passwords have already been cracked and posted online– — LinkedIn users would do well to change their passwords immediately.

I wonder if the hashes were really cracked. Check out this site: http://leakedin.org/
It supposedly lets you enter your password, converts it into the hash using the same scheme as LinkedIn, and checks if it is in the database of hacked passwords. My question is if this is a legitimate site, or a very clever ruse to match passwords to the hashes!! No need to crack if someone provides you the plain-text!
