LORs

I'm planning to apply to UC Berkeley's MFin programme. It requires 2 LORs.
Which would be better:
- 1 LOR from college prof and 1 LOR from corporate
- Both LORs from corporate.

I have a similar dilemma too. I am currently trying to get 3-4 LoRs (one from corporate).

But for the other two, should I choose between:
1. Mathematics professors with whom you’ve done a reading project or with whom you’ve taken a course and left an impression
OR
2. Professors from applied fields with whom you’ve worked and have publishable results.

Which is better? Do MFE/MFin programmes inherently prefer mathematics professors?
