Hi all,

I graduated with 2.94/4.2 gpa from a srilankan uni in 2008 as a Mechanical engineer (MEng hons) and at the same time I completed all CIMA (UK) exams.
I have been working as an equipment engineer for last 5 years in MNCs and currently residing in singapore.
Im afraid that my low gpa and lack of relevant experience will certainly hinder my chances of selecting to a good MFE programme.
I will be taking gre in this nov and I think I will be able to score close to 320 . This is based on my mock exam results.(168-170 for quant)
Also I am thinking of taking cfa level 1 in june 2014.
Can someone please advise me whether this is good enough to compete for admission.
If not please suggest any pre mfe programs I can take to improve my chances.
I am not planning to apply 2014, so I hope it will give me enough time to take additional courses if it a viable option to improve my application.
(Or am I trying for someting close to impossible)
Appreciate your assistance

Thanks
