I am preparing to apply for my graduate studies in the US and contemplating whether to apply in a MFE/ MQF program given its high tuition. I am an aspiring Quant with a background in CS. Will it be possible to break into Quant as a analyst/researcher/trader with a math-heavy Masters in DS/ Masters in Applied Stats/ MS CS? Also what challenges/ additional prep will I need if I decide to proceed with this path instead of a MFE?
