MS-OR at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.

Has anyone heard of anything about this program? I am under the impression that UNC-Chapel Hill's Operations Research program is a great program in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research which admits very few people. But I have rarely heard anyone talking about it.... anyone has any insight info on it?

I've graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill Comp. Sci. department (around #15 in U.S. at the time).

Stats department is much stronger, they were top 5 in the country.

This means that the program should have some excellent professors. The other plus is that there were plenty of cross-department grants/research, departments are in pretty close collaboration.
So I assume that the Stats folks can benefit from the connections of the business school or the finance department ...
