MSc Financial Engineering from University of Birmingham

Hi Guys,

I recently received my offer from university of birmingham for MFE course, course looks very well designed and structured but I'm confused about university's reputation and industry connection. Also I found its MFE course curriculum better than many other top colleges in UK. It would really help me take a decision if you can give your views on this particular course and the university.

Is that the course run by Dr. Colin Rowat?

I have been external supervisor for MSc Mathematical Finance there for a number of years for students who do their thesis in computational finance and implement it in C++ which they are trained in during the academic year.

I'm not sure if this is the same MFE as you are referring to.

I think person you are referring to is currently senior lecturer in Economics department of the university.

MSc Mathematical finance and Msc Financial Engineering are very similar course though. It would be nice if you can provide your feedback about the course?
How would you rate the overall course?.
