Guys,

I recently got admission from the two schools and do not know how to choose..

The only thing I care about is if I can find a job in the US after graduation..

So, any advice for me?

Thanks a lot!

I think Cornell has more Wall St. exposure, but they are both great schools. Have you looked into the curricula? Which one suits you better? Which location suits you better? Which faculty?

Either of these programs will afford you the opportunity to get a job after you finish, provided you are successful in the program. So, which program would you be more likely to succeed in? That should be your question.

Aside:
I'm going to assume you are a Canadian. I am too. I will also be seeing you at Cornell next year if that's where you decide to go.

I think it's less difficult to find a job in Chicago by going to UChicago than to find a job in NYC by going to Cornell

I would say Cornell since UChicago's program is only 9 months, it will be harder to find a job without summer internship.

Thanks! I will look into what you mentioned. Really helpful!

Hi everyone, recently got admitted to both programs and is struggling to make a decision. From what i have learned, almost everyone says Cornell have better career service. I am wondering what this mean exactly. Does that mean more firm come to conduct on campus interview, or something else?

Cornell seems to have better placement and UChi has a better brand name. So I really appreciate any insight from you guys!! Thanks!!

Better placement means better jobs and maybe interns, but full time jobs say everything. I've checked chicago's website and found it's placement in 2016 and 2017 just touched the fair level given uchicago or cornell's brand, which means cornell can hardly do worse.

Congrats! May I ask what is the deadline of deposits that Cornell gives to you?

Hi guys. Can somebody please help choosing between these two programs? Please also comment down your reason also for the same

Bumping for visibility. I am interested in Model Validation.

Please let me know if anyone has any comments on here as well as I suggest reaching out to alumni or current students on LinkedIn.

Really looking for strength of the program in regards to career services and curriculum. NY vs Chicago not a huge factor for me and cost is roughly the same.
