I want to get some reviews from current grad students at Stevens. Is the program as bad as some students describe it be on QuantNet. I know reputation matters a lot, but for me the most important thing is cost. A little background about me B.S. in Finance, 3.3UGPA, 320 GRE (168Q , 152V), cleared FRM part-I and part-II. Currently interning for the past 3 months in Equity Research. Stevens offered me a $15K scholarship, which is a big factor to discount in my decision. Other programs like CMU, NYU, Cornell, Columbia are too expensive for me.

A detailed explanation along with some placement statistics would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm in a similar situation as you. Got admitted into SBU and SIT but did not dare to apply to better-ranked programs because I cannot afford most of them, only Baruch and I don't think I would get admitted there as #1 implies fierce competition. What did you end up doing?
