Hi All

I recently got into Berk's MFE but am told that i need to take Numerical and PDEs at any accredited insitution. I think online counts ..and since im currently working - i much prefer that.

Does anyone know of any places that offer these courses online? I feel like they wouldn't but maybe there's a chance?

god that is expensive but at least it means that as a last resort I will be able to take PDEs here.

Anyone else know of cheaper online places?

You can try to take a look here:
Home | NetMath at the University of Illinois

Just out of curiosity, if you don't mind, did you not have PDE at all when you apply? I thought UCB requires you to show that you have taken a PDE course in the application.

I only took math 54 at berkeley which is "Linear Algebra and Differential Equations"

It mainly covers ODEs but it also covers the Heat equation and fourier series which could be considered an intro to PDEs. HOwever, I don't think it is enough and neither do they ;)

Have you decided on where to take courses online? I am also having a headache deciding where to take prep courses.

Btw how did you manage to take courses from Berkeley while working?
