Hi all; first post so I hope I'm not breaking any rules.
I got my acceptance back from NCSU yesterday and I have two questions:

1. What are people's opinions on NCSU's Financial Math Master's program? I see that it's pretty well-ranked and the information on their website is very positive, but I'd like some feedback from the community here as well.

2. I've also applied to FSU's PhD in Financial Mathematics. I'm debating, pending their acceptance, whether I should pursue the PhD outright or if I should go into a professional Master's program like NCSU's (or NYU's, if they accept me). Are there any career consequences to pursuing the PhD? Does it make one more or less employable? Is it possible to pursue a PhD after having obtained the Master's (since NCSU has a better Master's program than FSU's, this is something I might consider)?

For what it's worth, I have two bachelor's degrees, one in math and one in computer science, and I'm a Florida resident so FSU's reduced (and possibly waived) tuition is very enticing.
