Your 161 GRE Q is going to prevent you from getting into many programs. Programs that you may get into may not be worth attending.
You need to have a very strong profile or competitive edge to succeed in this industry.
I don't see any of that in your post.
 
Okay adding a bit more to my profile; I had strong grade, A+ (80-90) in all math subjects during my undergrad, did additional courses on Stochastic calculus(this was not in my undergrad curriculum) , ML and quant modeling, certificates from NSE(National Stock Exchange) in Derivatives . LOR from current workplace and undergrad faculty which highlight my python and cpp skills.

i know my GRE Q scores will hold me back. based on research(quantnet tracker and other sources) and asking alumni of various quant programs I am targeting Stevens/Rutgers/UIUC . And being a bit ambitious I applied to NC State and NYU.

I hope my application is suitable for Rutgers/Stevens.
