Hi, I am a working professional and looking to apply for MFE programs for Fall of 2025. I would like to get an idea at my chances of getting into one of the top 10 programs (US/Europe). I am mostly leaning towards UChicago MSFM though due to the scholarships they offer.

Education : B.Tech in Computer Engineering from a Tier-2 college in India.

CGPA : 9.35/10

Research Work :
1) A research publication in an international journal on Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN).

Work Ex:
1. Valuation Control Analyst for Fixed income Assets & Liabilities at one of the BB banks for 2 years.

Relavant Course work:

Math: Calculus, Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics
Programming: Data Structres, C++, Java, Python, Algorithms

GRE/GMAT: Not attempted yet

Just to elaborate more on my profile, I have attached the detailed math topics that were covered in both Calculus and Linear Algebra. My grade in Calculus & Linear Algebra was B+ and B respectively (on the lower side i suppose). Apart from that, I also took a course in Data Science which covered some bits of Stats as well.

As for my work profile, I work as a Valuation Controller wherein on a day to day basis I collaborate with both the trading desk and model risk teams to work on the valuation of our trading books and work on PnL adjustments (XVA, CVA, FVA etc.) for different financial instruments.

The options I am considering are as below:

Ambitious: Princeton
Target: Uchicago, CMU
Safe: NYU Tandon, NCSU

Show me your paper!!!

Also dm me, we are in the same position right now. I will also apply for colleges in this inake

You still need probability knowledge- knowledge covered in screenshots 3 and 4 does not suffice.
Yeah figured. I will have to re-evaluate my options and probably get a masters in math before applying to one of the MFEs in US.
