Hello,
I am currently studying for my MSc in Financial Maths. The period during which we will focus on our thesis is approaching and I wanted to set the following question:
'What is needed in order to become a quant?'
I want to know which skills a candidate must have in order to become a quant. I am currently researching for finding the appropriate thesis topic and answers to this question may help me understand what is required for this type of position so as to broaden my knowledge and to improve my chances of getting a job in the industry.
