Quantitative Analyst in Economics vs. Quants in Finance??

Hi all,

Can anyone please advise what is the big difference (in terms of quantitative methodology) between the following two roles?

1. Quantitative Analyst in Economics;
2. Quantitative Analyst in Finance;
