I had looked into the contest a while ago and it seems it was used by many CTA hopefuls for showing their "stuff". Do back test your systems with their commissions sturcture as it was quite a bit higher the Interactive Brokers $4-5 per round trip which will cut into your numbers if you are doing any high frequency trading.

I'll be rooting if you go for it......
