I am pretty new to the quant world. I studied actuarial science for a bit and worked for a large insurance company but I noticed insurance just isn't for me.
I just wanted to know what are some big competitive companies to work for as a quant.

I believe the answer to this question can be broken down depending on different types of quant positions.
The top companies in the quant trading is different from quant research?


I know in quant trading, there's the citadel, 2 sigma, etc.
