Hi,

I am asked to raise my GRE verbal score to 70 percentile.
I would like to know whether anyone does not meet this requirement but eventually still study at the program.

Raising verbal takes time actually, you need to immerse yourself in English as much as possible. Suggest you read the Guardian or the Atlantic and try to keep up with the long form essays. Its not that hard to get to 70th percentile, you can easily do that however, would help if you could use a good test prep service.
