Hello everyone,
I got admitted to Uchicago MSFM and Cornell Applied OR. I am having a hard time choosing which one is better for me. Generally, Uchicago has a more brand name and its location may be more helpful for me to find a job. However, Uchicago’s tuition is around $65000, while the total cost in Cornell is roughly $63000 (tuition: 42000). I am not sure if Uchicago’s MSFM is worth that much money, given the inaccessible placement stat on its website. Besides, I only have a very brief intern. It is little likely for me to find another one before graduation. Cornell offers an opportunity to work on a term-based engineering project designed to prepare students for the professional arena, which could be beneficial for my further career. I would appreciate any advice on these two programs.
