UIUC admission status update

I just received an email from the Admission Committee that they have recommended my application for admission and that once Graduate College processes my referral, an official letter will be shared. Has anyone else received something like this? Is it done or will there be subsequent reviews?

Yes. Its for the MFE program. Not sure of the next steps here - is there a review process by the Graduate College department as well and hence need to wait

Sounds like an admit. Basically the decision is made by the program but the rest of the admission process is done by the graduate college admission office who will release the decision.
