USC (Mathematical Finance) or UConn (Applied financial Mathematics)

Hi! Consider costs of programs and locations, because these universities are not top tier anyway, so you will have to network extensively to get job. UConn is better in terms of location, but USC might have a bit bigger brand name. Or you can build your profile and reapply next year. Good luck anyway!
 
If you believe you can do better, apply again. The risk of getting nowhere is not worth it. As far as life is concerned, it's not a pressing matter; you are still young and have plenty of time ahead for working so starting it off on the right path is much more valuable than trying to get in one year early.
 
Martin, Andy Thanks for your kind answers. I am kind of considering reapplying again. Do you have any advice how can I improve my chance of admission to the better university?
