QuantNet membres,
I'll present a PhD thesis in July, in statistics in Health economics area (Stochastic calculus and decision making with survival and cost data) in France. I have used a non homogeneous muti-states based model (not necessarily markovian) in modelling decision making which optimize medical efficacy and minimize cost of a health strategie.
I have a master in mathematics-computer science, BS in applied mathematics in social sciences.
A few programmation skills : C++ (academic level), R (always), SPSS (always), SAS (sometimes), VBA.
What do you think about my profile ? Can I move to quant jobs ? What quant job ? What may I do (I want work my skills) ?
My english need certainly to be improved, I’m working to.
Thank you for you answers.
