Hi
I am myself a physicist and I have worked as a quant for several years. I am often asked about the impact of physicists in investment banking, but I can only draw from my own experience and answer that the typical PhD track of quantitative analysts seems to be that of theoretical Physics. I have searched the net for a more quantitative answer without any success.
Can anyone refer me to a source that provides the percentage of quants that have, for example, a PhD in Physics?
