I will be transferring to a four year university, where I will be pursing a double major in Economics and Mathematics. I was curious to what skills I should leave to my university classes and what skills I should learn/work on outside of class? Thank you.

White belt, been training for six months but had to stop due to a recent ACL tear.

Rubik's Cube.

Fun. Easy to take with you. Impresses everyone, and a great addition to your resume.

Edit: And snorkeling. But that is not easy to take with you.

I was asking in regards to skills related to financial engineering, like is there any I should learn on my free time while going through university?

(Very, very) seriously, have you considered the very popular QN C++ course? It was developed by a ju-jitsu guy (well, kind of:))
