Greetings,

As of late I have been pondering whether the quantitative job market has frozen completely.

This question arose when I noticed more than forty applications in my desktop folder ... indeed, was painfully substantiated when I recollected that I haven't had an interview since December.

Chances are that I epitomize human inadequacy and unemployability. Yet, my credentials are allegedly respectable: three Masters from British universities which conventionally can be found ranked in the world's top ten. The most recent degree being in financial engineering.

I should mention that my job hunting has been reasonable diversified in terms of geographical location and purpose.

Best wishes,

I've been told many times that having a high number of degrees is actually detrimental to your application because it tells employers two things. You love school and only want to go to school or you have no idea what you really want to do in life.
