the course is hard but as future mfe student, we should understand that.Yes this meets my original goal
i would say this is a great journey and it actually provides me more career options. it helps me to build solid c++ skills and basic computational finance knowledges and those are just my expectations for this course.
Overall, it's an excellent course. Not only Dr.Duffy's instruction is clear and thorough, but also our tutors are patient and skillful. I felt very satisfied with the course contents which is essential for our skill development and career path.
The quality of the course was great as I was able to learn about the basic of C++ in just 10 weeks.
It did give me a solid background in c++ and it was interesting in the end to use it for some financial applications. I think the final exam which is really just debugging intensive is too heavily weighted. It doesn't reflect programming ability and it stopped me from getting an A.
It's the great one in all my CS courses, I learnt a lot of what I want from it, I think level9 is the best one.
The course is well organized, and I benefit a lot from this course.
I really enjoyed the quality of the exercises, feedback, and grading
Sincerely speaking, I start working with the course with no C++ background. During this challenging process, TA's assistance and threads posted on the forum truly help me out. This course builds a solid foundation for my future C++ program learning.
This course is more than an university course. It is much more in-depth and practical. Alternatively saying, this is really rigorous course, and I personally invested a huge amount of time to learn and implement concepts and codes. Feedbacks from TA were also extremely quick and helpful. I have never seen this kind of online lecture, this course is so detail-oriented , at the same time it dealt with a vast range of Programming concepts.

I believe that if a student puts a fair amount of time and effort, he/she can learn more than his initial expectation. (if..! is important here)
This is a great course teaching me lots of useful skills of C++ including the data structure and algorithm. Since I'm lack basic knowledge of option pricing, Level9 could be hard for me to learn , and I think it would be better if there's a workshop or additional lesson to help me better comprehend the knowledge of option pricing.
I like this course because it is well-structured. It covers essential C++ topics with applications to finance which are really useful and rich in content for a MFE applicant like me! The materials are detailed and accurate, with professor's clear explanation. My TA (Avi) is very responsive, providing feedback usually within a half a day. Big thanks to QuantNet for providing this course.
I really like the provided documents that provide extra details besides the lecture and the instant responses (within one day) of TAs when I have questions. It meets my original goal for taking this course - improving my knowledge about C++. Previously, I had some knowledge about different programming languages, but this course gives me a lot of details about things that I did not see before and extends things that I previously saw.
From this course, I learn the C++ core concept and get practical programming experience. It meets my original goal for taking this course.
I learned a lot, and achieved my goals when starting the course.
Absolutely. I loved the course. It completely meets my original goal.
Course was phenomenal. I learned a lot about C++ and how to use it to build financial models. I'm looking forward to using this as my first step towards breaking into the FinTech industry.
Good C++ course, absolutely recommended for everyone who wants to lay solid foundations in C++.
Yes this is a very good course and it does meet the goal.
I think this course is wonderful. I learned a lot about c++.
